Jemimah Rodrigues Marks Return With 45-Ball Century For Mumbai
Back from a three-month hamstring layoff, the India batter struck 107 not out off 49 balls to press her case for a national recall.

Jemimah Rodrigues needed little time to show she is ready for competitive cricket again, blasting a 45-ball hundred for Mumbai Women in the Senior Women's T20 Trophy Elite match against Pondicherry Women in Pune.
Coming in at number three during the fifth over after opener Sanika Chalke departed for 15 off 11 balls, the 26-year-old right-hander finished unbeaten on 107 from 49 deliveries, striking 16 fours and two sixes. She and Humairaa Kaazi, who made a half-century, put on 166 for the second wicket off 86 balls, lifting Mumbai to 213 for 2 in their 20 overs at the MCA Stadium.
The innings came days after Rodrigues announced on Instagram that her hamstring had been cleared following three months of rehabilitation from an injury picked up in The Hundred 2026. That setback kept her out of the Women's Asia Cup in the UAE and the T20 Asian Games in Japan, and she was also left out of India's recent white-ball home series against Zimbabwe Women.
With a century in one of her first games back, Rodrigues has given the selectors a timely reminder of what she offers as she pushes for a return to the national side.
