The Scotland all-rounder also unveiled his dream IPL team, placing the former India captain at the heart of the lineup. Leask is set to feature in the tournament, which begins on August 26 and is expected to showcase several prominent names from the associate cricket world.
Leask expressed his excitement about working under Glasgow's head coach, the legendary Matthew Hayden, who transformed Australia's approach to batting. "He played with incredible aggression and redefined power hitting in his era," Leask said of the former opener. "His presence alone is inspiring, and I'm eager to learn from him." He also stressed the importance of the ETPL for European cricket, noting the involvement of players from Scotland, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Italy. "This league will strengthen associate cricket and help the sport grow across the continent," he added.
