Zimbabwe were in trouble at 101 for 6 in the 12th over during their tri-series match against Namibia in Windhoek. But Ryan Burl and Brad Evans turned the innings around with a devastating partnership.
The pair added an unbroken 94 runs in just 48 balls, with Burl smashing 57 off 32 deliveries and Evans contributing a rapid 37 from 24. Their efforts lifted Zimbabwe to a formidable 195 for 6 after 20 overs.
The stand is now the highest ever recorded for the seventh wicket in T20I cricket, surpassing the 92-run partnership between Australia's Marcus Stoinis and Daniel Sams against New Zealand in 2021.
