Ishan Kishan Joins Elite 900 Club in T20I Rankings
Only three Indian batters have ever achieved 900 or more rating points in ICC T20I rankings.
Ishan Kishan has reached a career-best 916 points in the latest ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings, making him the fourth Indian to cross the 900-point threshold. The wicketkeeper-batter’s consistent performances in the recent T20I series against Zimbabwe helped him retain the top spot and enter an exclusive club.
Among the previous achievers, Virat Kohli’s rating was retroactively upgraded to 909 points in July 2025 due to an ICC algorithm review, even though he had retired from T20Is a year earlier. This made him the first player ever to hold a 900+ rating across all three formats.
Suryakumar Yadav had reached 912 points in January 2023, his highest ever, after a stellar run in T20Is that established him as one of the world's premier batters in the shortest format.
