Babar Azam First to 4500 Runs Across All Formats

Babar Azam made history on his return as Pakistan's Test captain against the West Indies, becoming the first batter to cross 4,500 runs in all three formats of international cricket. He achieved the feat during a brief innings of 23 runs in the second Test at Tarouba, bringing his Test tally to 4,504 runs.

Already the leading run-scorer in T20I cricket with 4,596 runs, Babar had surpassed 4,500 in the shortest format earlier this year. His ODI record stands at 6,626 runs, while his Test average is 42.49. Since his debut in May 2015, only Joe Root and Virat Kohli have scored more international runs than Babar's 15,726.
