Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza has thrown his weight behind India's teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, calling him a future generational talent if managed properly. Speaking ahead of the three-match T20I series, Raza defended the 15-year-old from early criticism, noting that judging a player after just a few international matches is unfair.

Raza highlighted Sooryavanshi's extraordinary achievements, including his match-winning 175 off 80 balls in the U19 World Cup final against England and his record-breaking IPL season with Rajasthan Royals, where he amassed 776 runs at a staggering strike rate of 237.30 to become the youngest Orange Cap winner. The Zimbabwe skipper also praised the youngster's recent 94 off 29 balls for India A in a tri-series in Sri Lanka.
