Mumbai Women’s President’s XI Set for England Tour
The 18-member squad includes India international Sayali Satghare and is captained by Humaira Kazi.
The Mumbai Cricket Association has named an 18-member President’s XI women’s squad for a tour of the United Kingdom. The team, led by top-order batter Humaira Kazi, features India fast bowler Sayali Satghare, who recently played a key role in India’s historic Test win at Lord’s.
Satghare, who has five international caps, took four wickets in that match. Several younger players in the squad will experience overseas conditions for the first time. The MCA selected players based on domestic performances and aims to provide exposure to English pitches and strong opposition.
The squad includes Humairaa Kaazi (c), Sayali Satghare, Vrushali Bhagat, Jagravi Pawar, Mahi Thakkar, Fatima Jaffer, Riya Chaudhari, Prakashika Naik, Hurley Gala, Aachal Valanju, Jeeya Mandrawadkar, Ashwini Nishad, Sanmaya Upadhyay, Kimaya Rane, Sadhvi Sanjay, Ria Thakur, Sonakshi Solanki, and Soumya Singh.
