Rohit Sharma Smashes Chris Gayle's Six-Hitting Record Against SENA Teams
The Indian opener also became the first overseas batter to score 1500 ODI runs in England during the third ODI at Lord's.

Rohit Sharma etched his name in cricket history on Sunday, surpassing West Indies legend Chris Gayle for the most sixes against SENA nations in international cricket. The milestone came during the third ODI against England at Lord's when he hooked Sam Curran for a six in the 11th over. He now leads Gayle 343-342 in that category.
Beyond the six-hitting record, Rohit became the first non-English batter to reach 1500 ODI runs in England. He needed just 35 runs before the match and got there in only 32 balls. He also completed 9000 international runs as an opener against SENA countries across formats.
The chase of 388 – the highest ODI target at Lord's – put India under pressure, but Rohit and Shubman Gill gave a fluent start. Speculation that this might be Rohit's final ODI appearance swirled, though BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia has made no official statement.
