BCCI Sends Gambhir's Support Staff to Birmingham for ODI Prep
Ahead of the final T20I, the BCCI has dispatched key coaching members to focus on the upcoming ODI series against England.
With India trailing 3-0 in the T20I series, the BCCI has taken proactive steps by sending a portion of Gautam Gambhir's coaching staff to Birmingham. The move comes as the team prepares for the three-match ODI series starting July 14, following the final T20I on July 11.
The staff includes throw-down specialist Daya, fielding coach T Dilip, and spin bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule. These professionals have been integral to the team's setup, with Dilip's contract extension previously backed by Rohit Sharma. Their early arrival in Birmingham is intended to fine-tune preparations against England, who last lost an ODI to India in 2022.
