Zimbabwe Cricket has announced a 15-player T20I squad for the upcoming home series against Bangladesh, with Sikandar Raza retaining the captaincy. The squad largely mirrors the group that competed at the T20 World Cup 2026, ensuring continuity as they build toward future tournaments.
The batting unit features experienced players like Brian Bennett, Ryan Burl, and Clive Madande, while the bowling attack is spearheaded by Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava. Two newcomers have been included: pace bowler Newman Nyamhuri, who awaits his debut, and batter Milton Shumba, returning to the T20I side after nearly four years.
Convener of selectors David Mutendera explained the selection philosophy: "The T20 World Cup showed what this group is capable of, so continuity was an important consideration. We wanted to keep together the core that reached the Super Eight while creating room for players who earned their opportunities."
