A day after cryptic social media posts fueled rumors of a breakup, Prithvi Shaw's fiancée Akriti Agarwal has come forward to defend the Delhi Capitals batsman. In a new Instagram story, she clarified that her earlier posts about being cheated were not directed at Shaw and that their relationship remains strong.
Earlier, Akriti had posted a story saying she had been 'cheated so many times,' leading to widespread speculation that she was referring to Shaw. Many fans noticed she had unfollowed him on Instagram, adding to the drama. However, she later refollowed him and remained silent on the matter until now.
In her latest update, Akriti stated, 'I never mentioned my fiancé's name, nor did I say that our engagement was called off or that we had separated.' She called the assumptions 'unfortunate' and emphasized that they are happy and still engaged. Neither Prithvi Shaw nor his representatives have commented on the incident.
