Asia Cup 2027: Kohli's Path to 100 Centuries
With the Asia Cup 2027 schedule confirmed, Virat Kohli has a limited window to reach the milestone before the ODI World Cup.

The Asia Cup 2027 is set to run from June 18 to July 4 in Bangladesh, serving as a warm-up for the ODI World Cup later that year. The tournament adds crucial matches for Virat Kohli, who is chasing Sachin Tendulkar's record of 100 international centuries.
Kohli currently has 85 centuries, needing 15 more to equal the milestone. Before the Asia Cup, India have 17 ODIs scheduled in bilateral series against England, West Indies, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe. In the Asia Cup, India could play between two and six matches depending on progress, giving Kohli a maximum of about 23 ODIs before the World Cup.
To reach 100 centuries, Kohli would need to score a ton roughly every 1.5 matches, a tall order given his recent form. His participation in the 2027 World Cup remains uncertain, making every match until then critical for his chase.
