Vaibhav Sooryavanshi faced a frightening moment during India's net session in Nottingham ahead of the third T20I against England. A throw-down specialist accidentally hit the young batter on the chest, prompting him to leave the nets. The team doctor attended to him, and after a brief consultation, Sooryavanshi resumed his practice, easing concerns about a serious injury.
Sooryavanshi made his international debut in the second T20I at Old Trafford, scoring 14 off 10 balls with two sixes before being stumped by Will Jacks. He shared a 50-run opening partnership with Abhishek Sharma. Despite the scare, the 15-year-old is expected to retain his opening spot for the upcoming match.
