Beth Mooney played a pivotal role in Australia's seventh Women's T20 World Cup title, scoring 64 in the final against England at Lord's. Her knock, combined with Phoebe Litchfield's 48, helped the Kangaroos chase down 150 with ease.

Mooney's innings took her to 424 runs in T20 World Cup knockout games, the highest by any player. She eclipsed former captain Meg Lanning, who had 407 runs in such fixtures. Only two batters have crossed the 400-run mark in knockout matches, with Mooney now leading the list.

The 31-year-old also became the first player to score half-centuries in three consecutive T20 World Cup finals. She followed her unbeaten 78 against India in 2020 and 74* versus South Africa in 2023 with 64 against England. Australian legends Alyssa Healy, South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt, and England's Nat Sciver-Brunt round out the top five in the knockout run-scoring list.
