Sciver-Brunt Breaks T20 World Cup Record with 58 in Final
England captain's unbeaten knock in the 2026 final gave her a record ninth fifty-plus score in T20 World Cups.

Nat Sciver-Brunt delivered a captain's innings in the 2026 ICC Women's T20 World Cup final at Lord's, scoring an unbeaten 58 off 53 balls to lift England to 150-4 after a shaky start. The all-rounder's fighting knock not only steadied the innings but also propelled her to a unique milestone.
With this half-century, Sciver-Brunt surpassed Beth Mooney and Suzie Bates to register the most fifty-plus scores in Women's T20 World Cup history. Her ninth such innings puts her ahead of the Australian and New Zealand greats, who have eight each. Alyssa Healy and Smriti Mandhana follow with seven and six respectively.
Sciver-Brunt also set a new benchmark for England batters in T20 World Cup finals, breaking Danni Wyatt-Hodge's previous record. However, later in the innings, Freya Kemp went past her with an explosive 44 not out off 28 balls, further strengthening England's total.
