Harry Brook took on India's Arshdeep Singh in spectacular fashion during the powerplay of the second T20I, smashing three consecutive sixes to turn the momentum England's way. The over began with two fours before Brook sent the next three deliveries over the boundary, leaving Arshdeep with figures of 27 runs from his third over.

Earlier, India had posted 190 thanks to Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan. Arshdeep had removed Phil Salt and Jos Buttler early, but Brook's assault changed the game. However, his innings ended on 39 off 15 balls when Axar Patel's delivery brushed his glove, and a successful review by India halted England's charge.
