Archer Returns, Tongue Debuts in England XI for Second T20I
England make two changes for the second T20I against India, bringing in Jofra Archer and handing Josh Tongue his T20I debut.

England have announced their playing XI for the second T20I against India, with two changes from the series opener. Jofra Archer returns to the side, while uncapped Nottinghamshire fast bowler Josh Tongue is set to make his T20I debut.
Archer and Tongue replace Luke Wood and Saqib Mahmood, who have been dropped. Mahmood had impressed in the first match, taking three wickets for 33 runs, but Wood went wicketless and conceded 35 runs from three overs. Archer last played a T20I for England during the 2026 T20 World Cup.
Harry Brook continues as captain, with Jos Buttler, Phil Salt, Adil Rashid, and Sam Curran among the key players in the XI. The match takes place on July 4 in Manchester.
