Fifteen-year-old batting prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has been handed the iconic No. 3 jersey ahead of his expected international debut. The number holds significant history in Indian cricket, having been worn by some of the country's finest players.

Harbhajan Singh was among the first to don the No. 3 jersey after his debut in 1998. The off-spinner played 103 Tests, 236 ODIs, and 28 T20Is, taking over 700 international wickets. He was a key member of India's 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 ODI World Cup-winning teams.

Suresh Raina also wore No. 3 during his career. Known for his aggressive batting, Raina played 226 ODIs, 78 T20Is, and 18 Tests. He became the first Indian to score centuries in all three formats and was part of the 2011 World Cup squad. Another notable player, Ajinkya Rahane, also sported the number in Test cricket, though his stint was shorter. Vaibhav now joins this elite list as he prepares for the UK tour.
