Pakistan women's opener Gull Feroza has been sanctioned by the International Cricket Council for a Level 1 breach of the Code of Conduct during the ongoing T20 World Cup in England. The incident occurred in Leeds on June 23, when Feroza, after being run out in the second over, aggressively threw her bat and gloves near the team dugout. She accepted the charge and was handed an official reprimand along with one demerit point.

Match referee Michell Pereira imposed the penalty after the on-field umpires Sue Redfern and Vrinda Rathi, along with third umpire Jacquline Williams and fourth umpire Shathira Jakir Jesy, reported the violation. Since this is Feroza's first offence in a 24-month period, the demerit point remains on her record.

The run-out that sparked Feroza's frustration came after a comical mix-up with opening partner Muneeba Ali. Chasing 200 against Australia, the pair attempted a leg-side bye when wicketkeeper Beth Mooney failed to gather a wide delivery. However, fielder Georgia Voll quickly collected the ball, and both batters found themselves at the same end, leaving Feroza short of her crease.
