Suthar's County Five-For Joins Elite Indian Club
The young Indian spinner claimed five wickets in Somerset's second innings, becoming the latest Indian to achieve the feat in County Championship.

Manav Suthar made headlines in the County Championship by taking his maiden five-wicket haul for Warwickshire against Somerset. The left-arm spinner bowled 46.5 overs, conceding only 100 runs while dismissing three of Somerset's top four batters, including South Africa's Jordan Hermann, and later removing tailenders Alfie Ogbourne and Jake Ball.
His effort helped bowl Somerset out for 435 in the second innings, setting Warwickshire a target of 314 on the final day at Taunton. Suthar also took two wickets in the first innings, finishing with match figures of 7 for 150.
The 23-year-old now joins a select group of Indian bowlers who have taken a County Championship five-for, including legendary names like Kapil Dev, Bishan Singh Bedi, Javagal Srinath, and Ravichandran Ashwin, as well as current players like Mohammed Siraj and Washington Sundar.
