Beyond Pant-Kuldeep: Two More Trade Options for DC and LSG

As the IPL 2026 season ends, trade talks between Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals have intensified. While the potential Rishabh Pant-Kuldeep Yadav exchange dominates headlines, at least one other player swap is being considered.
Ashutosh Sharma, retained by Delhi Capitals after a strong 2025 season, saw limited game time in 2026 as the team preferred Sameer Rizvi. With Pant's possible return further crowding the batting order, Ashutosh could seek regular opportunities elsewhere. LSG, who finished last in 2026, need a reliable finisher—a role Ashutosh fits well.
In return, Delhi Capitals could target Ayush Badoni, a Delhi-born batter who can anchor the innings at No. 3 or 4. His aggressive style would bolster DC's middle order. While the Pant-Kuldeep deal awaits BCCI approval, this secondary trade could address both teams' needs.
