The 15-year-old Rajasthan Royals opener followed up his IPL heroics against Praful Hinge by crushing Sri Lanka A with a 29-ball 94 in the tri-series final.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has once again delivered a stunning response to his critics, this time against Sri Lanka A. A week after an intense face-off, the teenager smashed 94 runs off just 29 balls in the final of the A-team tri-series in Dambulla, leading his side to victory.
This wasn't his first act of revenge. During IPL 2026, Sooryavanshi had a heated rivalry with SRH pacer Praful Hinge. After being dismissed for a duck by Hinge early in the season, the opener struck back with 103 off 37 balls in a later match, though his team lost. The rivalry peaked in the Eliminator, where Sooryavanshi blazed 97 off 29 deliveries, this time ensuring his side knocked SRH out of the tournament.
