Rohit Sharma's Double Feat Puts Him Ahead of Kohli, Tendulkar
The Indian captain became the oldest player to score a fifty-plus ODI knock and achieved a unique all-round record in Chennai.

Rohit Sharma played a match-winning 79 off 69 balls in the third ODI against Afghanistan, leading India to victory. His innings set multiple records that placed him above Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.
At 39 years and 51 days, Rohit became the oldest Indian to score a fifty-plus score in ODIs, surpassing legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and MS Dhoni. He also moved past Dravid to reach 95 scores of fifty or more for India, now only behind Tendulkar and Kohli.
In the field, Rohit took three catches off Prasidh Krishna's bowling, becoming the first Indian to score 50+ runs and take three or more catches in an ODI on three separate occasions. No other Indian has achieved this feat more than twice.
