Rishabh Pant is reportedly heading back to Delhi Capitals in a trade deal that would see him take a massive pay cut from 27 crore to 15 crore. The move, which involves Kuldeep Yadav moving to Lucknow Super Giants, has ignited speculation that other high-earning players might follow suit.

Nicholas Pooran, Pant's LSG teammate, is another name in the mix. The West Indian's 21 crore salary has come under scrutiny after a poor IPL 2026 season where he scored only 234 runs. LSG may look to trade him at a lower price, with Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans as possible destinations.
