Ben Stokes Named in Durham Squad After England Ban
Stokes will play for Durham against Northamptonshire following his suspension for breaking curfew during the New Zealand Test.

Ben Stokes has been included in Durham’s 15-man squad for their County Championship match against Northamptonshire, marking his first competitive appearance since being suspended by England.
The all-rounder missed the second Test against New Zealand after breaching team curfew alongside Gus Atkinson. The incident, which involved a nightclub visit and a physical altercation, led to twin investigations by the ECB and the independent Cricket Regulator.
Durham head coach Ryan Campbell confirmed Stokes has trained with the squad and is in contention to play. “Our doors are always open for any of our Durham boys,” Campbell said, adding that Stokes has admitted his mistake and is in good spirits.
England head coach Brendon McCullum has maintained contact with Stokes, expressing personal concern while supporting his return to action through county cricket.
