The Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) has issued legal notices to current Indian cricketers Tilak Varma and Mohammed Siraj, along with former batter Ambati Rayudu and actors Vijay Deverakonda and Venkatesh. The notices allege their association with the proposed TG20 League, a tournament that the TCA claims lacks approval from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Meanwhile, Siraj was rested for the upcoming two-match T20I series against Ireland and replaced by Prasidh Krishna. Tilak Varma, recently appointed vice-captain of India's T20I side, is currently leading India A in a tri-nation series in Sri Lanka. He has scored three half-centuries to help his team reach the final, scheduled for June 21, after which he will join the national squad for the Ireland tour.

The TCA also accused the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) of conducting business with corporations without proper BCCI authorization. As of now, none of the five individuals have publicly responded to the legal notices.
